Willy Bo Richardson est un artiste reconnu dont le travail s'appuie sur le "mouvement linéraire". Il expose très largement via des galeries de premier plan aux Etats-Unis tout en enseignant à la Santa Fe University of Art and Design (Richardson possède un MFA du Pratt Institute). En 2011, son travail est sélectionné pour l'exposition de la Jason McCoy Gallery à New York intitulée “70 Years of Abstract Painting – Excerpts”. L'exposition rassemblait une sélection d'oeuvres d'artistes modernes et contemporains de premier plan tels que Josef Albers, Hans Hofmann et Jackson Pollock. En 2012 , il expose une série remarquée intitulée “Watercolors” au siège de Phillips de Pury à Chelsea (New York). Son travail et sa vision a été mis dernièrement en avant sur KNME-TV PBS dans l'émission ¡COLORES! Il est représenté de façon permanente par la Richard Levy Gallery et ArtFloor.
