Michele De Agostini was born in Italy in 1973. He graduated in 1998 from the Institute of Art of Cordenons (Italy). His work is an interaction between the construction of the material and its demolition by means of tools of any kinds: filling knives, plexiglass plates, knives, pieces of wood and also brushes.. In 2002, with the presentation of his work, he created the Sliding Painting mouvement : the sliding action of tools ( there is no mixing of colours, everything is made by stratification and sliding on the support) creates the works.

De Agostini most recent exhibition was in Paris at Galerie Joseph for ArtFloor - In Situ in december 2015.
